Playing mostly as a central midfielder, Modric has also played on the right and left of midfield as well as in a more adavnces role. Modric has the unique ability to see spaces where no one else can and also the execution to make the perfect move. His passing, vision, ball control are as good as any and add to this his ability to come up with crucial goals and you have the ideal central midfielder for your team. His passes from the outside of the foot are unique to say the least and whenever Modric is on the pitch, the players around him get a little bit better. He makes all.his teams better and is as good a player as they come.

He is directing play along with Toni Kroos and his contributions are often gone unnoticed. His cross to setup Sergio Ramos for the first of Madrid's three UCL titles in four years will remain forever in the fans' memory. Modric is brilliant at everything a midfielder should be able to.do, passing, dribbling, movements and he continues to improve with each passing game.

Modric may not be as celebrated as some of his other teammates, but he is every but as good and integral as any other.
